Welcome to the Hidden Words Project!

Each Hidden Word has a post that includes the names of artists that have put the Hidden Word to music as well as links to their music if available.

If you know of an artist/song/rendition that I have missed please comment with the information. This way together we can build a collection of music around the Hidden Words.

If you are an artist please consider putting one of the Hidden Words without a song yet to music. It will be a great service.

Thank you so much for visiting this blog and I hope it serves you well.

Arabic Hidden Word #13

O SON OF SPIRIT!
I created thee rich, why dost thou bring thyself down to poverty? Noble I made thee, wherewith dost thou abase thyself? Out of the essence of knowledge I gave thee being, why seekest thou enlightenment from anyone beside Me? Out of the clay of love I molded thee, how dost thou busy thyself with another? Turn thy sight unto thyself, that thou mayest find Me standing within thee, mighty, powerful and self-subsisting.

Danny Stevenson recorded a song called "noble" on his album calm.strong.grateful available via his website.

Joe Crone has recorded a tune called "On Son of Spirit! I created thee rich" on his album Immerse Yourselves.  Check out his website or DivineNotes.

Lisa Janti & Bob Alcivar record this atop background music on their album The Hidden Words of Bahá'u'lláh: From the Realm of the Invisible available via Bahai Music Store.

Peter Held & Corinne Bahia team up to perform this Hidden Word on their album Creation available via Bahai Music Store.
