Welcome to the Hidden Words Project!

Each Hidden Word has a post that includes the names of artists that have put the Hidden Word to music as well as links to their music if available.

If you know of an artist/song/rendition that I have missed please comment with the information. This way together we can build a collection of music around the Hidden Words.

If you are an artist please consider putting one of the Hidden Words without a song yet to music. It will be a great service.

Thank you so much for visiting this blog and I hope it serves you well.

Persian Hidden Word #44

O COMPANION OF MY THRONE!
Hear no evil, and see no evil, abase not thyself, neither sigh and weep. Speak no evil, that thou mayest not hear it spoken unto thee, and magnify not the faults of others that thine own faults may not appear great; and wish not the abasement of anyone, that thine own abasement be not exposed. Live then the days of thy life, that are less than a fleeting moment, with thy mind stainless, thy heart unsullied, thy thoughts pure, and thy nature sanctified, so that, free and content, thou mayest put away this mortal frame, and repair unto the mystic paradise and abide in the eternal kingdom for evermore.

Mystic Tongues recorded this as a song called "Companion" on their album Magnify.  Check it out on their myspace page.  The song is available for purchase through ReverbNation.

Maui Ruhi Group also recorded this entitling the song "Companion" as a study circle project.  It is available here.

Mana performs this Hidden Word on their album Teaching the Cause available via Bahai Music Store.

Sam Cleasby performs this Hidden Word in a Baha’i Blog Studio Session available on YouTube
